URGENT Change of Congress venue
We write to you urgently to alert you about an important change of venue for the Congress.
The preparations for the Congress have been going smoothly, and this is also a shock for all of us.
The congress venue will now be: Beijing No.2 Middle School Chaoyang School
Address: No.6, Xili, Yaojiayuan, Chaoyang District, Beijing

This is a different district of Beijing. We are aware of the issues it is causing, and we will do everything in our power to make this change as easy as possible for all of you.

Registration by Direct Bank transfer
IDEA2024 Congress Registration by DIRECT application to Treasurer
This option is provided because some people have difficulty paying using a CREDIT/DEBIT Card. Please see details on the Registration Page.
1. You must complete the Registration Form provided.
2. You must pay through DIRECT TRANSFER to the IDEA Bank Account.
3. You must email the IDEA Administrator ad.ideadrama@gmail.com with details of your payment.
The preferred method of registering is through the ONLINE Form on the Congress webpage www.idea2024congress.org.
Note IAC International Advisory Committee Members must register through the ONLINE registration.

Tip: The hotel prices are for reference, and the exact price is subject to the price when the hotel is booked.

The 2024 Young IDEA event is about to launch, and we cordially invite you to join us! As an event aimed at individuals aged 18 to 36 who are passionate about drama and drama education, the goal of Young IDEA is to promote cross-cultural exchange, collaborate on creating an exciting theatrical production, and showcase it at the IDEA conference.
As a participant, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with other drama enthusiasts and professionals from around the world, share your unique insights and experiences, and collectively create a captivating theatrical piece. In this creative and dynamic environment, you will grow alongside like-minded individuals and make friends from diverse cultural backgrounds.

The program will have more than 70 Workshops; more than 80 Academic Papers; 3 Panels; Performance still being discussed.
Successful applicants have been notified.

Arriving in Beijing by air you need to know that there are two international airports for Beijing.

Driving distance to the campus: 30 minutes

Beijing Daxing International Airport (Closest to the venue)

Driving distance to the campus: 1 hour 40 minutes

It is NOW suggested that you see if you can arrive at Beijing International Airport rather than Beijing Taxing International Airport.
Some of you are already flying into Beijing Daxing International Airport (Airline code PKX). That
If you are already booked to arrive at Beijing Daxing Airport (PKX) you can try to change the booking.
But if that is not possible, don’t worry there are still options for transfers from this airport.
