“和谐世界”的理念是中国古代思想的基本框架，植根于中国传统文化中“天人合一”的价值观。 “和谐世界”设想一个和谐、共识、相互融合、没有障碍、没有冲突的世界。实现“和谐世界”，体现了古老美德“仁”的终极追求和终极目标。戏剧是人类艺术最古老的形式，也是文化沟通、交流和理解最常用的艺术媒介。本次大会旨在推动和鼓励戏剧教育工作者运用戏剧传承和传播人类优秀文化，通过戏剧促进各民族、不同文明之间的沟通与交流，通过戏剧架起友谊互信的桥梁，为构建人类命运共同体。
